About First Baptist Church of Edna Kansas
Here at First Baptist Church, we are a group of people that have a love for our Saviour, Jesus Christ. That love extends far beyond our church building. Whether it is by the preaching of God's Word or a friendly encounter outside of the church, we want everyone in our community to see and know the love of God that is shown by our church family.

Sunday School
Sundays Starting at 10 am
We currently offer Sunday School for children, teens, and adults
Sunday Morning
Sundays Starting at 11 am
Our typical Sunday morning service is traditional with special music and relevant preaching straight from the Bible.
Children’s Church
Sundays Starting at 11 am
This service is geared towards children 12 and under. They receive strong Biblical truths along with games and crafts.
Sunday Night
Sundays Starting at 6 pm
This service is for all ages and is encouraged for the whole family to attend together to learn Biblical truths and apply them to the whole family
Midweek Service
Wednesdays Starting at 7 pm
On Wednesday we give special attention to prayer and our missionaries.

1 John 5:13 (KJV) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
THE BIBLE IS VERY CLEAR THAT YOU CAN KNOW FOR SURE. THERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT YOU MUST UNDERSTAND!
1. You are a sinner
Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
No one is perfect, no one has lived up to God's perfect standard
2. You owe a penalty for your sin
Romans 6:23a (KJV)For the wages of sin is death...
With any wrong, there is a penalty. Sin bears the greatest penalty of all. If our sin is not forgiven, then when we die we will go to HELL!
3. Jesus paid your penalty in full
Romans 5:8 (KJV) 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Because of God's great love, he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for sinners.
Romans 6:23b (KJV) ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The gift has already been paid for when Jesus gave his life for you! You can only accept it or reject it!
4. By faith receive Christ's payment
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Call on Jesus in prayer now and ask Him to forgive your sins and to be your Saviour from that place called Hell!
